Dr. Johnson was born and raised in Saskatoon. After graduating high school, he attended the University of Saskatchewan (U of S) and graduated with honours from the Health Studies program with specialization on psychological growth and development. He graduated from the College of Dentistry in 2024 and joined
our practice at Saskatoon Smiles in 2025. Dr. Johnson is dedicated to providing exceptional dental care to patients of all ages and strives to help patients with dental anxiety feel comfortable and confident.
Outside of the office, Matthew enjoys cooking, baking, and spending time with his 4 cats and dog. He also enjoys travelling, camping, and hiking with his partner in the summer.
